Romance Paranormal
A Grimm is a guardian angel with gifts. They protect the
humans from paranormal dangers. At one time they were human
but now... now they are not.
Luc is a Grimm and blind, seeing through his connection to
his dog Krell, and others, is given a job to check out a
house in Kalo Horio, Greece. There is a legend involved and
built around seven bloody sisters. He's told this time he
has a partner...
Myrsina or Sina to the other Grimm's is one of the older
angels and she knows the legend very well. It wasn't seven
bloody sisters it was seven bloody wives and she was the
reason they were bloody. It was something she never
discussed and sees no reason to tell the truth now. The
woman that made up the tale, with only part of the truth
had been a mystic who sought after books crafted by demons,
and that she had stopped her a number of times then with
finality. Sina would not admit that to Luc that it might be
her sin that haunted the house.
Complicating matters is a film crew that wants to document
paranormal happenings in the same house that Sina and Luc
are to investigate. When one of the crew comes up dead,
they realize there is more to this than a false legend.
They also find that they are both very much attracted to
each other, despite her fear that she is a substitute for
the wife he had as a human, and his fear that she cannot
love him.
BLIND DESTINY is another offering of the Grimm Circle
books
and it is not the fairy tale from your childhood.
Masterfully written, BLIND DESTINY makes you think about those
fairy tales and wonder exactly who was Snow White, was
there a huntsman and really ... seven dwarves. The glimpses
to the past helps you know and root for these angels that
are searching for what all humans search for ... love and
acceptance. When they finally give in to the attraction they
feel it is hotter than imaginable but also deep and moving.
Anyone looking for an amazing story will read BLIND DESTINY
and the other Grimm Circle books as well.
SUMMARY
Myrsina knows the stories. As one of the oldest of the
Grimm, she had a hand in writing most of them, but only she
knows the dark origin of the Seven Bloody Sisters. It
springs from the place of her birth—and her death. A place
of pain and misery to which she plans to never return.
Unless forced. When Luc appears on her doorstep, her heart twists with
suppressed longing for the man who can never be hers. The
only man who can make her do the impossible—go home. Luc may be blind, but through their unique, bittersweet
connection, even he can see that the task laid before them
is ripping Sina’s soul apart. This time it isn’t as simple
as fighting a demon that has escaped from the netherplains. Sina must go back in time—to that cursed ground—and right a
wrong that she unknowingly brought about. To write a new
ending to a story that may give them both a chance at
happily ever after. Assuming they survive. Warning: This book contains a not-so-fairy-tale prince, a
Snow White who was never very innocent, a lot of bloody
fights, some ghosts, and a new sort of angel…
