In the heart of Toronto the Long siblings own and run
Pulled Long Café. Ian, the youngest and only male is the
coffee connoisseur, Sadie the middle sibling is the baker,
and Paige as the oldest is responsible for managing the
business itself. Each of these siblings has had a rough
time of it finding love. LONG SHOTS is an anthology of
their three stories: Double Shot, A Shot in the Dark,
Pulled Long. As Double Shot begins Sadie has just arrived at Mavericks a
local sex club to meet with her best friend Paul. Sadie has
lusted after Paul for years and had to watch him date a
long line of girls including her friend Rachel. Paul
Williams runs Mavericks and he has decided it's time to get
Sadie in there to see there is more to him then just
friendship. Paul brings Sadie to the club to cater an event
and figures once she is there for the party he is going to
make all her fantasies come true. Sadie is uncomfortable at
the club but mostly because she begins to fantasize what
Paul and his boss Josh could do with her. In A Shot in the Dark we learn that Paige has deep dark
secrets which include her taste for hard, hot D/s scenes.
Fireman Carter West comes into the café and Paige is
attracted to him and when she learns he is a Dom she is
torn. She is completely turned on and has a deep longing to
have Carter as her Dom but her one and only D/s
relationship turned abusive and Paige fears she won't be

Paige opens up to Carter she realizes there might be a
chance for her after all until her ex Rick shows up
demanding to be let back into her life and bed. In Pulled Long we find Ian working much too hard and much
too alone. Ian's last relationship ended badly with Kyle
blaming Ian for corrupting him. Ian has promised himself he
will never be with another man who is unsure about his
sexuality. So when his favorite customer "Blue eyes", Jeff
Caron reveals he is in the midst of a divorce Ian shuts
down the flirtation. Then one night when Ian is working
late on inventory Jeff shows up and Ian realizes the thrill
of exhibitionism with Jeff is the hottest thing he has ever
explored. LONG SHOTS is a sexy sensual anthology that is not for the
faint at heart. The relationships are heart-wrenching and
you will experience a roller coaster of emotions from
lighthearted laughs to gut wrenching sobbing. The sex
scenes are blistering hot and they will leave you flushed
and sated. If you couldn't guess by now I completely
enjoyed this book and recommend it to those who enjoy
erotic romances with a lot of heart.
