Romance | Romance Paranormal

Samantha Savage awakes in a hospital with no memory of how she got there or who she is, nor does she even have any recollection of the sexy man claiming to be her husband. Samantha is assured her memory will return, but she can't get over the feeling that she just doesn't belong in the quiet house in suburbia where her husband brings her home. And to top it off, she is spotting strange creatures and having bizarre nightmares.

Josh West is a sorcerer who has been hired to play Samantha's husband in hopes he will be in the right place to get information when she regains her memory. When Samantha is released from the hospital, Josh brings her to a training facility that is set up to look like a quiet suburban neighborhood.

Two things happened that nobody planned on -- Samantha's memory doesn''t immediately return, and her training as a demon slayer is still ingrained enough to let her know that things aren't right and she notices things that are out of place. The second thing is that she and Josh start to fall in love. Will their love be able to survive the truth? Will Samantha's memory return?

THE FORGETUFL DEMON SLAYER is a fun, paranormal romantic comedy. The characters are well written, but could have been filled out a bit more. As this is the first book in the series, I'm looking forward to reading more and hope to see further character development in the future books. I found THE FORGETFUL DEMON SLAYER to be really fun and enjoyable!

SUMMARY

Samantha Savage awakens in a hospital with no memory of how she got there. No memory at all, really—not even of the sexy man claiming to be her husband.

She’s assured her memory will return, but she can’t shake the feeling she doesn’t belong here, mired in suburbia…glimpsing strange creatures in dark corners. Dreaming of fighting demons for possession of a glowing pink pearl.

Josh West, a sorcerer thief, will do almost anything for money, but seducing an amnesiac slayer for The Company crosses the line. Yet if he fails to keep his bargain with the evil leaders of Diablo to persuade his oh-so-sexy “wife” to lead him to the Pearl of Wisdom, both of them will pay with their lives.

Sam can’t help falling for Josh, but as memory gradually returns and she uncovers the conspiracy behind the search for the pearl, she becomes less and less sure of which way to turn. She could trust in his love and join him to keep the pearl away from Diablo. Or return to her hard-won career as a slayer—and let him take the fall.

Warning: Before reading, dress comfortably in cool clothing, find a quiet place to read, get ice cubes and/or a big fan. During reading, keep the door locked and your favorite toy nearby. After reading, call your lover.
