Romance Series | Romance

Dermot Quinn, his twin and an older brother have been raised by their grandfather, Martin Quinn. Losing their parents as children, Martin has included them in his growing business of building yachts for the elite. Starting with $100 in his pocket when arriving from Ireland, his business is now very lucrative and the brothers each hold important jobs within the company. Dermot is a smooth talking successful salesman for Quinn Yachtworks in Seattle. Each is content with their lives until they are challenged by their grandfather in the same manner in whichorks h he initially started to seek their own choice in life. Each is given $100 and a two way bus ticket, each to different states. Dermot arrives in Wisconsin to live out his dreaded appointed six weeks.

Upon arrival Dermot is blessed to meet Rachel Howe, owner of a goat farm. Rachel has little money and works hard to keep the promise to her deceased father of keeping the farm in the family. At 25 she is the youngest sibling and the only one desiring to keep the farm afloat.

Rachel and Dermot have an immediate attraction that turns to a soul warming intimate relationship. As their scalding sexual and emotional relationship matures, neither can visualize giving up the life they currently have. Rachel takes on the care of two teenage nephews while her sister is enduring a divorce, which only endears Dermot more to her with his personal overseeing of the teens. As the end of the six weeks approach each finds it harder to separate. With separation there is no better time for soul searching and re-evaluation of what each really truly wants their life to be. THE MIGHTY QUINNS: DERMOT has a different twist than most and entails so much emotion and a very original plot. Both characters are easy to fall in love with and kept my heart aching at the thought of the end of their 6 weeks together. This is a fast read that is hard to tear the eyes from. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. I can hardly wait to read about the fates of the other two Quinn brothers!
