I'm wild about the Kincaid family and happy to see them back
in CALL ME WILD. Rugged, handsome, hot, and flirty Dr.
Fisher Kincaid is working too hard and feeling an unusual
lack of interest in the opposite sex. Maybe he's looking
for more now that his twin, Hunter, is disgustingly happily
married (see Wild Thing). Maybe he's distracted by
the beautiful Jessica who gets his mind and body revving
even though she shot him down at the coffee shop.
Jessie James, recently laid-off sports reporter from New
York, is in Idaho trying to re-build her life. In exchange
for staying in her best friend's house rent-free she has
agreed to finish the novel she always planned to write.
Specifically, she's planning to knock-out one of those easy
to write romance novels... even though she's never been in
love...and doesn't actually believe in romance. Not
surprisingly, it's not going so well. With a little help
from Fisher's sister Karma, Jessie finds herself turning to
Fisher for some demonstrations in romance. And everything
that comes with it!
CALL ME WILD is sexy, charming, romantic fun. The
competitive edge that the Kincaid siblings and Jessie share
makes for entertaining banter, arguments, and challenges. As
a transplanted New Yorker, Jessie is a bit of a fish out of
water without coming across as overly naive. Fisher is
ridiculously charming which might make you wonder how or why
Jessie would resist him, but she does and it makes sense
given her own experiences and expectations. The obstacles
they face are primarily emotional and sufficiently
compelling to keep me turning the pages. CALL ME WILD is a
must read for fans of contemporary romance. I can't wait to
see who's story is next!
She doesn't know a single thing about relationships... Unemployed sportswriter Jessie James plans to make a killing writing a bestselling romance novel. She's never read one, but really, how hard can it be? Moving cross–country to a borrowed house in Idaho, Jessie starts her research with the first gorgeous guy she runs into... Luckily, he knows everything... Sports doctor Fisher Kincaid notices Jessie right away—the transplanted Easterner sticks out like a sore thumb in the small town. When he discovers she's researching attraction and romance, he graciously offers himself as a test subject. That's when everything starts to go wrong, and they both find out how much they need a few good lessons in love...
