The tenants of the Come to Your Senses Building are back in
this follow up to Just One Kiss. In LIGHT ME UP we
explore the sense of vision as photographer Jack Shea tries
to find the woman from the park that has become his muse for
an upcoming gallery show. After she disappeared for a few
months, he was afraid he'd never see her again so he's
stunned when she walks into his shop to ask about
photographing her sister's wedding. Melissa Weber is as
beautiful as he remembers but can he convince her to work
with him to make his vision for his show a reality? Will the
attraction that blazes between them get in the way?
I am a fan of the group of friends that live and work in the
Come to Your Senses Building and was glad to see them return
in LIGHT ME UP. They have a fun, witty, friends who know
each other too well vibe that draws me in. Jack and Melissa
are appealing characters with a strong and passionate
attraction. They encounter a number of obstacles that
generally keep men and women from seeing eye-to-eye. The
will-they-won't-they subplot involving Bonnie and Seth
continues and left me wondering what Seth's problem is. I'm
hoping we'll get the answer in the next book in the series.
The moment he sees Melissa Weber, photographer Jack Shea
knows he wants her—as a model. (And maybe a little more.)
Stunning, serene and very, very sexy, she's perfect. But
keeping his hands off Melissa is going to be way harder
than he thought .
Once Melissa is in front of the camera, she comes to life,
channeling a raw passion that the camera—and Jack—find
irresistible. But each time she bares her body and soul, the
intense sexual current between them grows stronger. And the
more they give in to temptation, the more they both risk
becoming exposed!
