England and the former home of her adopted mother, Stella
and meets with Lord Julian Ashton Carlisle, Fifth Baron of
Wyndham, and new resident of that home, who introduces

As the truth unfolds it's a painful one for Julian but also
other things come out that force Cate to step back and look
deeper into her own history, in her adoption and her family
Margaret Way was one of the first writers of Harlequin I
ever picked up and I continue to read these vividly written
stories of England and Australia. The men are always
powerful and the women feisty, but in this instance it is
an eight-year-old who steals the show and brings all
parties together. An amazing twist to allow the boy to
complete the family he has always wanted and erase the lies
that haunted both parents past.
