Romance Paranormal

In the second of The Lost AngelsM series, MESSENGER'S ANGEL exceeds the excellent world-weaving found in the first and makes readers want to know what's next.

In this work, anthropologist Juliette Anderson finds herself pulled in so many directions that she has no idea not only in whom to place her trust, but also what version of reality to believe. She's just met Gabriel Black, a sexy man seemingly straight from her dreams, but various factions provide clues, or flat out tell her, to not trust him. For a while, few of her actions are of her own volition, as powerful men keep trying to pull her one way and then another. It's no wonder Juliette is having difficulty acclimating: not only is she in beautiful Scotland, a lifetime dream, her research is being funded by a media mogul who is more than he seems, she has to face the facts about her seemingly paranormal abilities, and, oh yeah, she's an archess.

For his favorite archangels, The Old Man created four archesses who were flung to Earth. The archangels have been waiting generations to find their archesses, but other factions want the archesses, and their powers, for themselves. Can Juliette find it in herself to trust Gabriel before it's too late?

Clever, quirky, and fascinating, MESSENGER'S ANGEL is a fabulous and fast whirlwind of a story. Not only are the heroes and heroines larger than life, the villains have differing aims and motivations that make them unpredictable. The emotions between Juliette and Gabriel are scorching hot, but this is no I-hate-you, I-lust-you, I- love-you predictable novel. Instead, Juliette's emotions are genuine and interesting, and the brotherly love among the archangels is beautiful. Some of the most fascinating characters are those who get limited page time: Max and Lilith. Finally, you want to read the series to determine what Samael's overall plan might be.
