The old sayings such as "it's always darkest before its dawn", "you have to hit rock bottom before you can get up", "once you hit rock bottom the only way is up" are just meaningless words until it happens to you. Austin Wright woke up today and doesn't remember how he got home, what he did last night or who he was with. The startling truth of his dark path is staring him right in the eye.
