Romance | Romance Series

Blake Dalton, CFO of Dalton International of Oklahoma City and his twin, Alex who is CEO of DI, are attempting to uncover the paternity for the infant left on their doorstep. Molly, 6 months old is proven 99.99% to be a Dalton; but which brother actually fathered the girl is unknown. What is known is that a nanny is needed to help care for Molly. Grace Templeton applies for the nanny position but does not reveal that Molly is in fact her cousin's infant. Grace made a deathbed promise to her cousin Hope (aka Anne) to take Molly to the real father, and not to reveal which twin is the father, and lastly to keep secret her desperate flee from Jack Petrie, her abusive and dangerous husband. Hope had changed her name and all legal documents, and had been working at DI when becoming pregnant with Molly under her assumed name and then met her tragic fate. Searching for the facts surrounding Molly, Blake hires a detective and uncovers the relationship between Molly, Hope and Grace. Blake then decides to marry Grace but both know the arrangement is dangerous and they are playing with their true feelings of desire for each other. The emotional tie Grace has developed with Molly becomes her whole focus in life. When she falls for the sexy and virile Blake, she actually has hope that she might gain a real family and become mother to the child she desperately loves. THE PATERNITY PROMISE has loads of mystery and suspense surrounding Grace's attempt to protect Molly. I thoroughly enjoyed THE PATERNITY PROMISE. The quick paced short story kept my constant attention
