June Farrow, a paramedic and SAR volunteer is searching the mountains of Wyoming with her 4 year old K-9 Lab. Lacy Matthews and her 3 year old twins have disappeared and they are feared murdered by the cult devotees of Samuel Grayson from Cold Plains, Wyoming. Samuel owns the town and eliminates anyone not marching to his tune. June lost her husband and 3 year old son because of Samuel Grayson and vows to take him down. After much self evaluation, Jesse Grainger begins to remember who he is , but not before becoming very close to June. He too has lost a wife and little boy to a fire, with his wife's last request of Jesse to find and rescue her brother from the cult. Will the two be able to save more innocent victims from the cult?
THE PERFECT OUTSIDER is another in the very exciting and interesting addition to the Perfect, Wyoming series. The puppet master is a handsome and suave man intent on keeping "his" town under his control no matter the cost. This series is well written and apparently well researched. Loreth Anne White has made her characters very colorful and exciting people. Suspense and constant activity keeps you on your toes, waiting for the next shoe to fall. I can't wait for the next riveting issue of the town of Cold Plains and their terrifying cult.
