THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME is the first book of a trilogy a
reader can look forward too from author Lydia Dare. In a
world where the ton's opinion can make or break a girl's
prospects and werewolves lurk, Dare weaves a romance between
a Lady and a Lycan.
Lady Madeline Hayburn has money problems, but not of the
sort most readers might think. She has so much money, that
is all anyone ever remembers about her. She can be funny,
intelligent, and outspoken when it comes to a certain Lycan.
Weston is a newly turned Lycan. He is the neighbor of Lady
Madeline and as such, Lady Madeline saw his conversion. The
reader will love Weston's rough and manly ways. He has none
of the flair or dramatics of the Lords of the ton, but Lady
Madeline just may take a chance on him.
The love scenes in this book took a while to show up, but
once the author decided to write them in, they were worth
waiting for. Steamy and sexy, the love scenes also made
Weston appear more caring and Lady Madeline less collected.
The other characters are not focused upon, the author hints
at the addition of Weston's brothers to the story later on-
an added touch the reader can look forward to. The ending
will leave the reader smiling and pleasantly surprised. THE
WOLF WHO LOVED ME is ideal for a long car ride or plane
trip.
