Fans of Pamela Clare will adore UNTAMED. Morgan, the love
interest, has a strong sense of loyalty to his men and will
capture the readers' heart after a couple of chapters.
Although he is forced to do a job he hates, he still manages
to do a good job and remain responsible for the men he
fights with. It isn't long before Morgan is captured by the
French. When Amalie literally falls into his hands, Morgan
isn't quite sure what to make of this new turn of fate. He
certainly doesn't want to stay with his captors, but he
doesn't want to leave Amalie's side.
The reader will love the main characters. Amalie is cute in
her innocence and her puppy love for Morgan. Morgan is
everything a reader could want in a hero: strong, brave,
charismatic, and caring. The reader will certainly be
rooting for the two to get their happy ever after.
The plot is fast-paced and follows a similar pattern to many
of Pamela Clare's previous novels, but this one contained a
slight twist just as its predecessors did. Anyone looking
for a light-hearted romance with plenty of action should
grab UNTAMED!
Though forced to fight for the hated British, Morgan
MacKinnon would no more betray the men he leads than slit
his own throat - not even when he was captured by the French
and threatened with an agonizing death by fire at the hands
of the Abenaki allies. Only the look of innocent longing in
the eyes of a convent-bred French lass could make him
question his vow to escape and return to the Rangers. And
soon the sweet passion he awoke in Amalie had him cursing
the war that forced him to choose between upholding his
honor and pledging himself to the woman he loves.
