Romance

If you are like me and enjoy contemporary romance then you will want to check out the latest release from author, Sherrill Bodine, ALL I WANT IS YOU.

Venus Smith and Connor Clayworth have an attraction that is undeniable, but their families are feuding, and whether or not they can get past the feud and find their way to happy ever after is the meat of ALL I WANT IS YOU.

Connor and Venus are two very loyal people who will do almost anything to protect their family members. Venus who owns a vintage clothing store is asked by Connor's Aunt Bridget to come help clean her closet, and in the process unearths a very rare vintage mermaid brooch.

Venus wants the brooch for herself, but Bridget believes the brooch to be an omen of bad luck, and is hesitant, but in the end relents. It doesn't take long for the chain of unfortunate events to begin and for seemingly solid relationships to begin to unravel.

As one event follows another Venus begins to piece the puzzle together and enlists Connor to help her. He does so at first reluctantly but as they begin to work towards solving the mystery of where the brooch originated their attraction to each grows, but can they move past their differences and let their love bloom?

In ALL I WANT IS YOU, Sherrill Bodine has created a mystery that doesn't overtake the main love story and pushes this story into the category of Romantic Suspense. While the mystery is integral to the story, the relationships of the characters is more what draws the reader to continuing to turn the pages.

From her first book to her latest release Sherrill Bodine continues to be an author whose work I enjoy and whose future work I will be eagerly anticipating.

SUMMARY

SHE'S STEALING HIS HEART . . . Vintage boutique owner Venus Smith is stunned to realize her newest acquisition comes with a larcenous legend. Stolen years ago, the antique mermaid brooch belongs to the Clayworth family. The right thing to do would be to return it, but that means facing Connor Clayworth O'Flynn, the sexy department store heir Venus has had an unrequited crush on since childhood-and the man who helped ruin her father. ONE KISS AT A TIME Connor knows that Venus has never forgiven him for what happened between their families. But business isn't personal, even though Venus's father's betrayal still cuts him like a knife. So when Venus proposes a deal-she'll return his family's brooch if he helps clear her father's name-he reluctantly agrees. As action-packed days turn into flirtatious fall nights, it isn't long before old memories resurface . . . and new desires ignite. Can two young lovers leave the past behind? Or must they first admit that all they've ever really wanted . . . is each other?
