Caleb Black is asked to do a huge favor: go home. No longer
officially affiliated with his undercover job, his ne'er-do-
well reputation will allow him to explore a potential drug
ring in his home town. Unfortunately, he has to investigate
his father, a man who runs the town and has fingers in
hundreds of different pies. Despite growing up the son of a
larger-than-life con man, Caleb is sure his dad is on the
straight and narrow and plans to prove it.
Pandora Easton has her own brightly-colored familial shadow:
her mother. Pandora has reluctantly returned home to run the
family's New Age store. Always a disappointment in the
"giftedness" area of the family line, Pandora does know how
to cook. With family herbal recipes purporting aphrodisiac
qualities, Pandora spins the store into something new while
also betting sexy Caleb Black that aphrodisiacs encourage a
little sensual mind over matter. Unfortunately, her
checkered past and his need to find the truth of the
hometown drug ring make trust the most important magic they
can find, not only with each other, but with their parents.
SEX, LIES AND MISTLETOE is an excellent book! It is funny,
well-written, and all-around clever. Yeah, readers know what
is going to happen, but this kind of romance isn't so much
about "what" is going to happen but how well the writer
takes the reader on the journey, and Weber does a great job!
Undercover DEA agent Caleb Black is home for the holidays—
possibly to bust his own father. But maybe Caleb's con-man
dad isn't the one running drugs through the small town of
Black Oak. Maybe it's the green-eyed goddess who runs the
New Age shop and has Caleb under her sultry spell.
Pandora Easton saved the family store with two words: sex
sells. And her delectable aphrodisiacs really work, as she's
proven with notorious bad boy Caleb again and again and
again.
Little does she guess that, in the end, her most potent
potion will be the truth...
