Marjorie M. Liu's Dirk & Steele works are always excellent, but Eddie's story is the one fans have been waiting for. His present is marred by the horrors of his past, actions he did, opportunities he thinks he missed; the rage and stress inside him erupts in fire, so he has had to hide himself from others in order to keep them from the danger of his flames. However, he's been charged with finding a half-dragon beneath the streets of Manhattan, whether he's able to control himself or not. Because a half-dragon is not all that Lyssa is, Eddie may find controlling himself more difficult than he thinks!
