Mystery

What does a struggling actress do when the going gets tough? Go back home of course! Piper, the main character, takes it a step further and goes home to help with the family bakery! Unfortunately for Piper, she doesn't escape from drama, even at home. There is a mystery afoot and Piper is determined to solve it.

Piper is creating one of the best and most important cakes of her life when everything seems to go wrong. Jack, the handsome FBI agent, steps in to aid Piper. The reader will love how the author portrays Jack, a tough man with an obvious crush on Piper. Their developing relationship is fun to read about and makes the mystery even more enjoyable.

Overall, Mary Jane Clark writes books that hard to put down. The events in TO HAVE AND TO KILL are exciting and contain more than a few twists that keep readers on their toes. This mystery novel with tinges of romance is great way to brighten any rainy day.
