Paranormal Romance

Doctor Lili Carter may have never finished her training as a witch but her powers are extraordinary. Her skills as a doctor bring her to Crying Souls Hospital and Asylum. No one knows that she is also investigating the disappearance of a friend. While Crying Souls has an excellent reputation amongst the non-mortal community, the Asylum is a dark place with some unsavory employees. Lili visits Inderman to connect with some old friends and sees a mysterious demon, Jared. His ability to appear and disappear is disconcerting. Even more disturbing is the fact that he isn't present physically whenever she sees him outside the hospital. Jared is a patient in the Asylum. The charges against him are so severe that is unlikely he will ever be released. With the help of one the hospital nurses, Lili will turn both the hospital and the asylum upside down as the number of nurses disappearing continues to grow. Jared will fascinate Lili and also lead her to the exposure of the villain. Darker than the previous books in the series, A DEMON DOES IT BETTER is a fascinating story with light touches of levity to brighten the mood. While I missed the bunny slippers, Lili's cat, Cleo is a close second in the trouble department. Ms. Wisdom is a talented writer who never fails to involve the reader is her stories. This blend of romance, the paranormal and a very dark villain will keep the reader actively involved in the story.
