Annie has a complex character; the reader will sympathize with her and her past throughout the novel. She can be quite caring and funny too.

The love scenes, always an important portion of a romance novel, were amazing. They were believable and steamy. Annie and Iain are clearly in love. Annie's innocence combined with Iain's almost animal need will provide for a great love story for the reader. The realistic love between Annie and Iain is endearing.
