relationship between the two slowly develop and hit all of
the highs and lows expected of a newly formed bond. The
two turn out to be better matched than they previously
thought later on in the book, this scene will make the
reader laugh.
When there are suspicions of treason and Annabella's
husband is implicated, both characters must worry for their
safety. Can Annabella stop these accusations before they
get carried away? The novel really takes off from here.
If a reader enjoys a Scottish romance, this is the perfect
book for him/her. Angus is surprisingly patient with his
young wife, the way he woos her is very sweet and almost
innocent. Annabella turns out to know more about love than
her husband realizes, initiating sparks between the two
that will last throughout the book.
