This book gives the reader the opportunity to meet the Drake family and read three of the Drake children's stories. The reader will get to know Solange, Logan, and Hunter from the Drake family very well-the stories are told partly from their point of view. The author alternates from the three aforementioned characters' point of views with Isabeau's, Lucy's, and Quinn's. The glimpses into their thought processes will help the reader connect with the characters.

Each story, of which there are three, is different and exciting. The reader will be taken into a world of intrigue, vampire dealings, love, loss, and hate. The characters are all very strong, the reader will appreciate the strong female characters-no wimpy, helpless females here. The events are very fast-paced, the author's style of writing shines through as fresh and fluid. The stories dip into the past, at times, to help explain some of the current stories going on. The reader will not be confused by the interlocking plots, the author does a wonderful job explaining. This book would be great for young adult/teen readers.
