Romance Suspense | Romance Paranormal

What would you do if you thought the mother of your child murdered your child? Nikko Cruz has to deal with a lot in his life. When he is ambushed and on the brink of death, Selena (the woman he was sentenced to death for murdering) saves him. The story takes off from there.

Selena is a mysterious, enigmatic, and intelligent woman. She was and possibly will be Nikko's lover and the mother to his child. Selena has secrets that she desperately desires to hide. Nikko plans to discover and annihilate those secrets. He is slightly impulsive, handsome to a fault, and very charismatic. The secondary characters are fun to meet, though they are far from the focus of this novel.

The events are fast-paced and high-energy, the ending is perfect for this novel as well. The reader will not be disappointed. This book is recommended to those 18 and older (steamy love scenes!).

SUMMARY

While tracking uranium-spinning centrifuges in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, L.O.S.T. operative Nikko Cruz is ambushed and left for dead. The last person he expects to see is Selena de la Roja, the only woman he ever loved. Selena has secrets she’s killed to protect. Deep, dark, otherworldly secrets, including a lineage that makes her half-daemon, a fact she despises. Selena’s most important secret, however, is one she’s already died to keep. To protect her daughter, she’ll slay daemons, steal ancient artifacts, and drink immortal blood. But when she sees her lost love dying on the side of a mountain road, Selena discovers she can’t walk away….
