Recently divorced real estate agent Payton Fleming plans to concentrate on her career. Three failed marriages shows her she does not know anything about love. Payton's best friend is murdered by someone targeting agents after hours. To escape her memories, Payton decides to vacation at a resort in Greece.
Now that he has opened another resort for the Vampire community, Christian is ready to move on to another city until Payton shows up. Payton believes Christian is much too young for her to be involved with. It takes time and patience but Christian wears her down and soon they become lovers. By the time her vacation is over neither one of them wants the relationship to end but Christian has not revealed to Payton exactly what he is. His plans to tell her could be too late when an old rival makes a play for Payton. To top it all off the serial killer may be someone he knows. Will Payton prefer being in love with a vampire than with a much younger man? Christian won't know the answer to that until he comes clean with the truth.
A sexy paranormal suspense with a heroine you can relate to and one I couldn't help rooting for. Although the hero is a vampire I felt there was nothing special about him, he could have been just a normal mortal. These vampires were almost like regular people, the author did not flesh out their vampirisms enough for this reader although the cast of characters were great.
