Pilot Chase Dakota knows he had his plane serviced before taking on passengers yet the plane malfunctions and he needs all his considerable skills to keep everyone safe. The crash lands them directly into the middle of a blizzard.
Rory Campbell charted a plane because she needed to get her sister who has lymphoma cancer into a special program for a new drug. She refuses to believe all her fighting was for nothing, she won't give up and lets Chase know immediately that she expects him to fix the problem. That's okay with Chase because he has no intentions of letting her sister die even if they have to hike their way to safety. An unwelcome attraction springs up between Chase and Rory that complicates the situation even more. Is it the close confines or can it truly be that they have found love under the most unlikeliest circumstances?
Once again Ms. Lee crafts an emotional tale of love and courage. The characters are endearing and the plot is fraught with enough tension to keep the story moving.
