Tech Sergeant Wade "Brick" Rocha and his team of Para-rescuers are on a training exercise in the Alaskan wilderness when they receive the rescue call to retrieve several climbers stranded in a blizzard. Their high-tech equipment shows one climber separated form the rest leaving Wade no choice but to parachute down to the remote location and hope the weather holds. To Wade's surprise, Sunny Foster, is just as prepared for the inclimate weather as he is, though she is out alone with only the company of her dog which is never safe. The weather forces Wade and Sunny to hide away in a cave while the blizzard rages, as soon as morning breaks, Wade finds himself chasing the crazy woman over difficult terrain only to come across a horrific murder. Wade is determined to get Sunny to safety and solve the mystery surrounding her.
