Erotic

SWEET DREAMS is a collection of 20 tales developed to explore the dangerous side of erotica in ways that couples can easily emulate them. The stories are explicit and often interesting, and they deliver what they advertise: dangerously sexy situations that may titillate many fantasies and inspire some action for some couples.

On one hand, the works that end with a "twist" of how the dangerous aspects can be safely mitigated for regular couples demonstrate a responsible way for people to engage in dangerous fantasies with limited "real" danger. On the other hand, the back-blurb says "this is a we-did-it-you- can-too anthology of real couples..." (Lou Paget), when clearly, according to the author bios, these are works by writers of erotica. The works also emphasize the devotion each member of a couple has for his or her lover; in addition, readers should be aware that the primary couples in each story are heterosexual, though some of the "dangers" include other people of both genders or varied sexualities. Some of the writings in the stories shine while others seem to struggle to tag on ways to say "this is a way you can do this in a perfectly safe and devoted environment" that can be jarring. However, the work is provocative, and the writers fulfilled the promise of the anthology.

SUMMARY

Sweet Danger is a delicious confection and collection of
exquisitely explicit stories. This carefully crafted erotica
is specifically aimed at inspiring couples to act on their
fantasies and long-held forbidden desires. Master editrix,
Violet Blue dares to ask the question,"What is YOUR deepest,
darkest, sweetest fantasy?"

Fully explored in the 22 superbly written tales of the
taboo, the couples in Sweet Danger push the limits of sex,
lust, and imagination as far as they can to please each other.

In Erica Dumas' "Dress Me Up," a woman in an elegant
restaurant is compelled to enter a situation with rough sex
and voyeurism, while Alison Tyler's "You Can't Always Get
What You Want," tells tale of a long distance couple who
reunites in a shocking and arousing public encounter. Thomas
S. Roche's "Cocked and Loaded," begins with a day at the
shooting range and climaxes back at home with some intense
BDSM. This book features couples who want it so bad, they
can taste it-and they do, over and over again
