FANG ME is the third in the Val Shapiro series and the best by far. Val is really in the thick of things now, what with trying to figure out what happened to a valuable set of books her father bequeathed her. She gave them to her demon cousin for safe-keeping and they vanished the same day. Everyone was counting on learning more about demons from them, so Val feels doubly-guilty. And just when things seem to be going swimmingly with Shade, she is shocked to discover that her powers of superspeed and strength will disappear with the loss of her virginityβonly Lola will remain intact. As the mystery of who stole the encyclopedias spirals in more deeply, a new "shady" character emerges, the newly outed vampire movement grows, and its leader has his sights set on Val and her powers.
The final climax of the series is big, shocking and intense. A great ride and a fantastic end to the series!

the mystery and find the thief. At the same time, she's
fighting her attraction to sweet, sexy Shade--her favorite
shadow demon. Rumor has it that Val will lose her
part-demon, vampire-fighting powers if she gives herself to him.
With a crowd of vamps and demons out to trick her or kill
her, it's not a good time for her to risk her job as the
city's best vampire hunter by falling in love. The stakes
are high and aimed right at her heart. But Lola, Val's
hungry little lust demon, doesn't like being denied. Will
Lola finally get her way?
