"Imaginatively Erotic Scenes Wrapped in Vampire Mythos"

Fresh Fiction Review

INSATIABLE
Morgan Hawke

Romance Paranormal | Romance Erotica Sensual

Elaine is traveling in Europe when a stranger on the train makes an extremely improper (although tempting) proposition. The main plot of the book is not brought before the reader's eyes until well after the third chapter so I hesitate to share details in this review for fear of ruining the author's revelations. What I can tell you is those first three chapters make it clear INSATIABLE is all about passion, conquest, submission (with the submissive one's permission) and lots of hot and sweaty sex. Oh, and vampires.

As you continue in the book, the author introduces other characters beyond Elaine and Rafael (one of whom will become very physical with Elaine and Rafael for yet more hot, sweaty and arousing scenes). A villain is also part of the overarching plot, and there are a few twists, but still, it comes back to the fact that Morgan Hawke knows how to write a fantastic sex scene, and can make the characters interesting enough to write a book around them. Not a bad book, either, but one that had enough plot to keep my interest.

INSATIABLE doesn't pretend to be modern literature, and even is printed with a label on the back that reads: "WARNING: This is a really HOT book. (sexually explicit)." It fulfills those expectations admirably and has some of the most imaginatively erotic scenes I've read in recent memory. If what you are looking for is fairly mindless entertainment with enough steam to run a train a few good hilly miles this is definitely the right book for the job.

SUMMARY

Traveling alone through Eastern Europe, a young American
artist encounters a wickedly handsome stranger. His name?
Aramis. Ravished by the burning darkness in his eyes, Elaine
bares her body and her soul in wanton surrender to his touch
- and drinks deeply of the elixir that marks her as his
sexual thrall, a willing servant of his supernatural
desires. For Aramis is a vampire...And so is the mysterious
Rafael, lord of the Carpathian castle where she and Aramis
are welcomed. Both men will become her lovers and together
bring her to undreamed-of heights of pleasure. And both men
will partner in her ultimate transformation. In their arms,
she finds a savagely erotic joy...and the dark fulfillment
of destiny...
