This is a great book! Bronte McBride and her unusual
nephew, Zachary, have more secrets than reality. They run
Drak's Place, a local club, and they wear masks 24/7 not
only as part of the schtick, but as part of their lives.
Despite the favor of a goddess, Darkwyn, a former Roman
warrior and sometimes dragon, has never been great at
following directions. Therefore, he doesn't quite finish
the required courses through Works Like Magick that will
help him adjust to life in the 21st century; instead, he
wants to run to Bronte, the woman he assumes is his heart
mate. Somehow he ends up playing Master Vampire at her
club. Then, he ends up on television; perhaps Darkwyn
should taken a few more how-not-to-be-noticed courses. Now,
he not only has to bob and weave to stay ahead of a
vengeful sorceress, he also has to try to get Bronte to
open up about her own secrets.
Filled with all sorts of
cool stuff, such as mobsters, dragon-human-brothers,
kittens with wings, and possibly vampires, VAMPIRE DRAGON
is a humorous, as well as wonderful, world.
