Her quirky murky world is built around the mists of Portland, Oregon and dips below the surface of the fantasy convention subculture. Book four in the series moves the over arcing storyline along while introducing some fascinating new characters who will play strong roles in books to come. The Tess Noncoiré series has it all; a great urban fantasy world structure, humor, heartbreak and Frost's skillful writing style to keep readers coming back.
