Emma Andrews is born with blood marking her as Dhampir, a
child of suffering and a vampire hunter destined to
destroy vampires. Drawn to a girl's school which her
mother had attended, she receives a position posing as a
teacher to protect the girls who are threatened following
the deaths of several other students. At the same time,
Emma is searching for a way to find a release for her
mother.
