Divorce attorney Harper James is ready for the next step in her future. Harper's plans to propose to her long time boyfriend are put on hold as Harper's sister, Willa, calls to ask Harper to be in her wedding. The real kicker is Willa is marrying Harper's ex-husband's half brother which means Harper must come face to face with Nick Lowery, her ex-husband of 12 years. Harper was so sure all those years ago that Nick was the love of her life until the first year of their marriage during which Nick spent more time at work than with Harper, all the while asking Harper to put her future on hold to he build his career. An unfortunate incident forced Nick to walk out and Harper to file for divorce, leaving Harper to face her future with out him. Traveling to the wedding located at the Glacier National Park in Montana towards a reunion with Nick can only mean disaster.

The moment Nick Lowery spotted Harper James in a crowded bar over a decade ago, Nick knew that he had found his future wife. Once they were married, Nick turned his full focus to starting his career as an architect. Unfortunately, Harper felt neglected enough to do damage to their marriage resulting in divorce and heartache. Nick has not seen or talked to Harper in years but now that his half brother is marrying Harper's sister, the thought of seeing his ex-wife has Nick feeling out of sorts. Harper arrives at the wedding with a boyfriend in tow but Nick can still feel the sparks flying between himself and Harper even after the boyfriend leaves early. Nick is unable to resist offering Harper a ride across country, just the two of them, after flights are canceled. He hopes to reconnect with Harper and prove that she belongs in his arms for always.

SUMMARY

Just when she thought she had life and love all figured out... Divorce attorney Harper James can't catch a break. It's bad enough that she runs into her ex-hubby, Nick, at her sister's wedding, but now, by a cruel twist of fate, she's being forced to make a cross-country road trip with him. And her almost-fiance back at home is not likely to be sympathetic. Harper can't help that Nick has come blazing back into her life in all of his frustratingly appealing, gorgeous glory. But in Nick's eyes, Harper's always been the one. If they can only get it right this time, forever might be waiting - just around the bend.
