Branna ta Cattia is a High Priestess on a long journey to
fulfill her own visions of finding the one man, a Priest,
who helps her give their world balance from the current
evil. Together they will perform the Ritual of Balance, but
first Branna must find the Priest by following the
Goddesses' path. Branna and her protector Faill enter the
Numia to locate the key needed to unlock the spells to
perform the ritual, but they fall into the hands of the
rebels looking to destroy the King. Branna finds more than
just her destiny.
Years ago Lucan's Uncle Magnus destroyed Lucan's family to
rule Numia by killing them all, but by the faith of the
Gods, Lucan escaped the same fate. Leading the rebels to
exact revenge on his cruel uncle keeps Lucan alive and
focused, but the moment he lays eyes on Branna, she quickly
becomes a distraction. Lucan refuses to accept Branna's
help knowing they have the same ending in mind, but Lucan
underestimates Branna's need to complete her destiny which
also puts her danger and Lucan doesn't like it.
