Arri has her eye on the main goal-- making damn sure she has
enough cash to raise her nephew and get out of Brooklyn
someday. Her junkie sister has followed their mother's path
of drugs and sex-for-dollars to swallow the pain, but Arri
intends to change her life and raise her nephew right. Even
if it means running her cyber-sex business every night after
a long day's work as an executive secretary. She has no time
or space in her life for a man, unless his credit card is
good and any encounters are via a computer screen.
Lyfe should have it made. His wife, Payton, scooped him up
out of his job delivering for UPS, and has him running
boardrooms in her late husband's company. It's a long way
from his life in Crenshaw to an LA mansion but he's earned
it by learning all he needs to know about handling high
finance. Too bad Payton is a stone cold bitch who thinks she
owns him and treats him like a chew toy in public and
private. When he walks in to take over the New York office
and sees the curvy package of his secretary, he knows he's
gonna get some of that, no matter what he puts at risk.
There is something about Arri that he knows can change his
life, if only she lets him inside.
Risqué has done it again. A hot, steamy sensual story
surrounds a suspenseful mystery, keeping the reader sweating
'til the final page. The characters feel real and the
passionate sex scenes are written with broad bold strokes,
no pussy-footing around. Great escapist reading.
Lyfe is a black Adonis and one of the most powerful
