Romance

Now that Teal Williams is standing in the same room as Zane Cutter, Teal blames temporary insanity for jumping at the chance to fill in for her father as Cutter Salvage's marine mechanic. Teal thought coming back to Cutter Cay Island would allow her and her father, Sam, an opportunity to finally connect. To her dismay, Zane is insisting she join his crew as chief mechanic and extra diver, using every dirty trick he can think of. And Teal is using every defense she can to avoid the situation. Zane Cutter is excited to be finally diving for treasure after four years of searching for the lost Dutch ship. Zane only has to convince the mousey, rumpled old friend of the family, Teal Williams, to join his crew. Zane is not sure why Teal is so prickly towards him and doesn't rightly care, though it's refreshing not to have a woman throw herself at him. The situation is perfect; since Zane is in no way attracted to his talented mechanic, his focus can remain on the prize. But Zane's antisocial mechanic is proving to be just as fascinating as his treasure. UNDERTOW is the beginning of an exciting and witty new series enriched with fun characters and action-packed drama. I literally could not put it down!

SUMMARY

Cherry Adair sets a dangerous course into uncharted waters, where the hottest treasures—and steamiest pleasures—lie waiting for any man or woman bold and brave enough to claim them…

SHE TAKES THE PLUNGE.

Teal Williams is content with her career as a ship’s master mechanic—until Zane Cutter, the “Casanova of the Caribbean,” makes her an offer she can’t refuse: to climb on board with him for a real-life treasure hunt. Teal must help him dredge up a shipwrecked vessel containing an abundance of gold, silver, and emeralds—and she’ll claim part of the prize.

HE’S BLOWN OFF COURSE.

Zane needs a mechanic—not a lover—and Teal, who can also dive, is perfect for the job.  So it suits him just fine that Teal is completely immune to his charms…or so he tells himself.  But with a deadly enemy in their midst—one who’s silently edging closer—Zane and Teal sink into troubled waters. Trapped in the middle of a perilous sea, they have no one to turn to but each other as they face down a danger that runs unfathomably deep—and a passion that runs even deeper…
