Michael and Molly Graham are finally settling in to their
new home in the coastal town of Blackpool England, and are
looking forward to celebrating the Seafaring Days, an event
for which the town comes alive in colorful costumes of the
days gone past. But trouble rears its head as their friend
Dylan Stewart begins to have more trouble than usual with
his wife Naomi. Local thug Willie Myners apparently has
been supplying Naomi with illicit drugs and filling her
head with dreams of running away, much to Dylan's ire. And
when Willie is discovered fatally stabbed on his boat with
only Naomi as a passenger, the local constabulary looks to
Dylan as the possible culprit.
It's up to Maggie and Michael to try and clear their
friend's name, and they soon find themselves pulled even
deeper into the town's mysterious past as a port of pirates
and thieves. Murder, whispers of lost gold, and more than
one spooky resident make solving this mystery a challenge
for the Grahams, but one they undertake with vigor and
excitement.
In VANISHED, the second book in the Blackpool Mystery
Series, author Jordan Gray once again takes his readers on
a roller coaster ride of intrigue and suspense with his
affable characters, Michael and Molly Graham. This series
of books is partially inspired by the Big Fish online
game Ravenhurst. The series, for which four novels are
planned, dives deeper into the history of Blackpool and
its residents. Gray breathes life into the characters of
Molly and Michael Graham and the result is a loving and
charming couple reminiscent of Nick and Nora Charles
of The Thin Man movie series. Readers will fall in love
with this romantic sleuthing duo.
