SINS OF THE FLESH

Romance Paranormal

Soul reaper Malthus Krayl is on a mission to find the person responsible for the death of his brother Lokan. As one of four sons of the god Sutekh, Mal and his brother's are pretty much invincible, but someone still managed to kill one of them. Now not only is Mal on the hunt for the killer, but he and his brother are hunting for the fourteen pieces of Lokan's body so that they can resurrect him. Nothing is going to stop Mal from seeking justice for his brother, but he never counted on falling for the enemy.

Calliope Kane has been a Daughter of Aset for over a hundred years, automatically making her an enemy to all soul reapers, but Calliope has her own reasons for her bone-deep hatred. Even that hatred isn't enough though, to keep Calliope from fantasizing about Malthus once she meets him, but that desire isn't enough to give up the prize they're both after. When Calliope is attacked by her own side, she has no choice but to trust Mal so they can figure out who the traitors are on each side. With danger creeping closer as they get nearer to the underworld meeting of allies, they'd better hurry if they want to identify the killer in time.

Eve Silver's SINS OF THE FLESH is the third book in her Otherkin series. Though this book can be read as a stand alone without getting confused, I highly recommend reading the books in order to really appreciate all this series has to offer. Malthus and Calliope are entertaining in every way. Both are strong, stubborn characters and they play extremely well off each other. The hunt for Lokan's body and his killer is the force that pushes this story further and Ms. Silver has done a magnificent job of drawing it out between the three books. As for the killer, that will leave you in shock and awe. This is definitely one book where I didn't see it coming. I can't tell you how thrilled I am that there will be more books in this series. Not only is the series captivating, with its intricate and detailed world building and fascinating characters, but the ending of SINS OF THE FLESH will leave you clamoring for more. Eve Silver just went on my auto-buy list and she'll be making it onto your as well, guaranteed.
