HOT STORIES FOR COLD NIGHTS is another book full of sexy short stories from Joan Elizabeth Lloyd. Having read one of her previous books of short stories (The Spicy Bedtime Companion), I knew I was in for a treat. You will find many different stories to entertain you. From massages to leprechauns, there is a story for everyone. Some stories stand alone, and others stories are connected and share characters. All of the stories are enjoyable and fun.
As much as I enjoy reading full novels, it was nice to be able to pick up the book and enjoy a complete story in one sitting. I loved being able to unwind after a hard day by reading a story or two. It is hard to pick one standout story. If I had to, I would pick Leprechaun Love, an amusing story about a husband and wife who catch a leprechaun (and the fun that follows!). This story is both sexy and intriguing.
In terms of favorite story, Unintended Consequences comes a close second. When a young lady finds a genie in a bottle and gets three wishes, she finds that you may not always want what you wish for. I liked the whole idea of this story and the relationship between Audrey and the genie.
Many of the other stories were just as enjoyable. I loved the way the characters in the stories let themselves go and lived in the moment. HOT STORIES FOR COLD NIGHTS is one sexy read that exposes the reader to many different places and enjoyments. With intriguing characters full of life and love, this is a book that many may readers will enjoy.
