But when her beekeeping mentor and good friend, Manny Chapman, is found dead, the supposed victim of a bee attack, Story finds she has to do a little sleuthing of her own to find out how Manny really died, before the town folks run her bees out of town too! In her debut book, BUZZ OFF: A Queen Bee Mystery, author Hannah Reed combines an intriguing who-dun-it with a lively action-filled story to create one sweet cozy mystery! As Story digs into the sticky mess Manny's death has left behind, her former high school flame, deputy Hunter Wallace, urges her to leave the investigation to the professionals. But Story knows those bees did not kill Manny, and she is determined to find the real cause before the backlash of bee-terror stings her business. This book proves to be a yummy treat for fans of cozy mysteries!
