April Buchert has created a new life for herself in her
hometown of Aldenville, Pennsylvania. She started out
helping her father in his restoration business but has
since become quite well known as a professional rubber
stamper. After her father and his partner move to Florida,
April takes a job helping her best friend, Deana, and her
husband, Mark, with their funeral home business.
Her job is to help organize and archive old files. Her
interest is peaked when she finds a closet full of unmarked
boxes, including one beautifully stamped and decorated box.
Curious, she asks Deana about the boxes and is shocked to
find out that they hold the remains of deceased that have
not been picked up by family members. The elaborate box
holds the remains of the brother of one of her Stamping
Sister friends. Little does she realize that the mystery
surrounding the contents of that box is about to send April
on a not-so-merry adventure that might well stamp out her
life, as well as, the lives of those she loves and cares for.
In Terri Thayer's latest book, FALSE IMPRESSIONS (the third
in her Stamping Sisters Mysteries), fans are updated on
the lives and activities of the large cast of characters
that populate this series, and treated to a new and lively
tale of intrigue and suspense. Thayer's strong
storytelling skills are evident in the complexities of the
story. Her creativity shines with the addition of a cute
stamping project at the conclusion of the tale. This crafty
series is one to look forward to again and again.
