April Buchert has created a new life for herself in her hometown of Aldenville, Pennsylvania. She started out helping her father in his restoration business but has since become quite well known as a professional rubber stamper. After her father and his partner move to Florida, April takes a job helping her best friend, Deana, and her husband, Mark, with their funeral home business.

Her job is to help organize and archive old files. Her interest is peaked when she finds a closet full of unmarked boxes, including one beautifully stamped and decorated box.
