A cozy English seaside town, Blackpool, England, is also a
town steeped in secrets. Once a haven for smugglers, the
town is also the site of a famous train derailment and
robbery that occurred during World War II. The train
carried children of several prominent families being
evacuated from London, as well as a large cache of
priceless art, and a fortune in gold. The treasure was never
recovered.
Now, seventy years later, Blackpool is a peaceful tourist
destination and is the new home of American Molly Graham
and her British husband Michael. The town's peace is
about to be upset as a film company has come to make a
documentary about the survivors of the train wreck. Molly
is working closely with the film crew as the public
relations liaison. When the elderly survivors begin to
be murdered before filming has even started, Molly takes it
upon herself to find out who and what is upsetting the tea
cart in her adopted town.
With help from her beloved Michael, Molly sets out to track
down the reason for the killings. Why is the train wreck
and missing artwork at the heart of all the mayhem? Some
secrets just don't want to be revealed, and those who
seem to be enemies just might prove otherwise, as the
Grahams soon find out.
STOLEN by Jordan Gray is the result of a unique partnership
between the author, Big Fish Games, and
Harlequin Books. Loosely based on Big Fish Game's popular
Mystery Case File Game, Ravenhurst, this novel dives
deeper into the history of Blackpool and its residents. Gray
breathes life into the characters of Molly and Michael
Graham, and the result is a loving and charming couple
reminiscent of Nick and Nora Charles of The Thin
Man movie series. Readers will fall in love with this
romantic sleuthing duo.
STOLEN is the first in a series of four books set to be
released revolving around the Grahams, Blackpool and the
Ravenhurst mansion. Fans of the mystery games, as well
as great mystery writing, should be well pleased with the
results.
A shattering scream outside the old theater leads to the
victim, a woman whose past in Blackpool is linked to a
seventy-year-old train wreck, a lost child, and a cache of
valuable paintings smuggled out of London during World War
II. After a number of frustrating missteps can Molly and
Michael discover the killer in their midst? In Blackpool
they know secrets run deep. And some want them hidden
forever.
