Romance Paranormal

As owner of Kilchurn Ltd., Jackson Alexander Kilchurn IV (Jake) travels the world searching out the rare and unique gems he uses for his jewelry. From rain forests to jungles to mines, Jake has seen and survived it all. He's a master at adaptation. But nothing in this world can prepare him for the trip he's about to embark on. While on a business trip for his father, Jake is unexpectedly hurled back in time to the 13th century. And it's here that Jake's skills are put to the test. Sick and tired of being thought of as a commodity by her father and brothers, Amanda de Piaget is determined to take control of her own life. She has no desire to be bartered off and wed to a man who thinks of her as nothing but an asset to be added to his estate. Biding her time, Amanda waits until she thinks the time is right and, taking her father's fleetest horse, makes a bid for freedom and gallops off to what she hopes will be a new life. What she finds instead is an unconscious, mostly unclad man lying by the side of the road. She and her brothers...naturally some of them have galloped off right behind her...take the man home to Artane. Once there, they go about acclimating the stranger to their way of life. Jake knows nothing about life in the 13th century. Everything from the language to how to ride a horse is a mystery to him. Luckily, he's a quick study with Amanda's brothers as his guides. But it's the lady of Artane who interests Jake the most. Although they both know a relationship is impossible, they're drawn to each other from the first. Call it fate or heaven, some force has seen fit to unite Amanda and Jake for its own purposes. Are the lovers strong enough to live up to the challenge? Will they defy convention and the odds and write their own "happily- ever-after" chapter in the de Piaget saga? The de Piagets are an entertaining bunch! For readers of the series, Amanda is Robin's sister. New readers won't be lost. There's plenty of backstory to help guide you through this family's history. Lynn Kurland is one of our most beloved time-travel authors and deservedly so. Each new book is cause for celebration!
