Anica Revere has decided that Jasper Danes just may be the one until she finds out from a former girlfriend that Jasper has the same line of bull that he pulls on every girlfriend. Then he dumps her. In the heat of anger, Anica decides to get revenge by using a very old spell she found in a very old book. The problem is the spell goes horribly wrong and now Jasper is a cat and Anica doesn't know the reverse spell for it. She also discovers upon casting this spell, she'd lost her own powers and cannot do any more spells. Who knew how much she depended on her magic during the day!?

Anica takes Jasper home with her hoping that her own cat Orion will be okay with Jasper until she can figure out how to change him back. She also decides even though she doesn't want to, she needs Lily, her sister, to help her with this one. Lily has met a couple named Dorcas and Ambrose, whom readers may remember from the Big Knob series of books that might be able to help with the spell.

Vicki Lewis Thompson's books are truly a marvel to read. I have been reading her books for too many years to count and have always been amazed at how over and over she does not fail to entertain me to the fullest! Anica and Jasper's story was no exception. I highly recommend A BLONDE WITH A WAND as an entertaining fun book!
