I thoroughly enjoy reading good romantic suspense. The
books that Dee Davis writes always keep me on edge from
start to finish! She knows just how to keep the suspense
going through the entire book.
Annie and Nash have a past but eight years ago a mission
went horribly wrong and Annie disappeared from Nash's
life. Nash hasn't been the same since. He is much harder
and more callous. Now Annie's back but she's on the wrong
side of the law and Nash has to go after her. Is he too
close to the situation?
Annie knew that Nash could never make a commitment so when
she found out she was pregnant she knew she had to cut her
losses and make a new life for herself and her unborn
child. Their boss Tom helped Annie disappear. Now somebody
has kidnapped her son, Adam and she has to do what they say
to get him back.
Nash and Annie are thrown together once again and when Nash
finds out that Annie has a son, which she tells him is not
his, who was kidnapped, he knows he must help her get her
child back. They also have to figure out who kidnapped him
and why. In a race against time, they will do all they can
to make things right but the longer they are in each
other's company, the more then are drawn together yet
again. Can Nash make a commitment this time?
Whew, I read this book in one sitting. I simply could not
stop reading it. I was drawn to the characters like a moth
to a flame and just had to see how things worked out. For
those readers who enjoy romantic suspense, this one is a
keeper!
