Fresh Fiction Review

Fire Angel

Erotic

: Ella Lansing awakes to the smell of smoke in her home and is rescued by firefighter Colin Callahan. The last thing she sees before slipping into a coma is his sexy, piercing blue eyes. Following his heroic rescue of Ella, Colin suddenly gains some "help" when it comes to finding women in the fires that come after Ella's. A tiny light leads him to the female victims that are trapped in places that he may not have been able to find them otherwise. That's not all. Colin is now having some VERY REAL and EROTIC dreams starring a beautiful angel who seems to also have some naughty moves of her own. Is he losing his mind or is he just really lonely? He may not believe the answer even when it appears to him point blank. This is such a sweet tale of love and lust that it just needed to be a bit longer. While everything was very nicely put together, as well as answers provided to all of the puzzles, Ella and Colin are two characters that I would have loved to know better and longer. The plot deserved to have many more pages to it. Author B. J. McCall skillfully crafted two characters in this story that draws the reader in and makes them want to spend more time with Ella and Colin. While there is a bit of a mystery hovering in the background, which was intriguing, I also wanted to know more of the background of Ella and Colin. Each of them has a truly unique personality and the way that Ella so quickly figured out and adjusted to her situation was quite inspiring. Colin was understandably shocked to find himself in the middle of a supernatural experience, but the way he reacted was also surprisingly easy. I would love to find more writings by B. J. McCall in the future. Her fruitful and creative imagination deserves to be shared with the world of readers.

SUMMARY

Firefighter Colin Callahan is having a brush with the supernatural. Not only is a tiny light leading him to female victims trapped in burning houses, he’s having erotic dreams about an angel.

Ella Lansing is lying in a coma. She wants to wake up but her spirit is busy acting as a guardian angel. Colin is the only person Ella can touch, her only link to the mortal world and her midnight visits with the hunky firefighter are becoming increasingly more interesting.
