The Hunt

Fantasy | Romance Paranormal

Once a year the Guardians demand a price from those they serve and protect. The valley people offer up their virgin daughters to become part of a great hunt in the tunnels of the temple of Amun Ra. The women are forced to run a gauntlet pursued by the warriors; in this way the Guardians choose their mates. Many stories and legends are told about the Guardians, chief among them is that the Guardians are able to shift their forms into that of a giant cat, while others hint at the cat warrior's sexual prowess. Miu isn't interested in stories and legends just as she isn't interested in becoming the mate of some testosterone-driven super warrior. Miu has her own agenda; her sister's life depends on her success in the temple. Miu is a thief and her Master has sent her to the temple to steal an ancient moonstone necklace. If she succeeds, it means freedom and safety for both she and her sister. Only one thing stands in her way -- Jafar. A seasoned Guardian Warrior, Jafar is sure Miu is not what she seems. Too confident to be one of the usual virgin runners, Jafar follows Miu into the tunnels in hopes of discovering what she is really up to. Even though he is attracted to her, he has no plans on catching and marking her as his mate. But plans change. Miu makes a sudden detour out of the tunnels and into the catacombs beneath the temple. Intrigued, Jafar goes after her, as curious as any cat. You know what they say about curiosity and the cat. The mighty warrior is about to have his fur ruffled in a serious way. And Miu will learn what happens when you tease a hunting cat with something quick, warm and tempting. Funny and explicit, THE HUNT will tempt the most finicky reader into an afternoon of reading delight.

SUMMARY

No matter how they try to flee, the virgins who enter the twisting tunnels of the Guardians are destined to be caught. Actually, most don’t try too hard. The stories of warriors who can take on Cat form, of lovers who can make a woman scream with pleasure, are just too enticing. But Miu is no virgin, and she’s joined the Hunt with her own agenda. After she steals the moonstone necklace she’s been sent for, she has no intention of becoming some Cat’s tasty morsel. Too late she discovers these kitties have some deliciously kinky habits, and the dark hunter on her trail isn’t about to let impudent thievery go without punishment of the most exquisite kind.
