Science Fiction | Romance Paranormal
Kyra Aramas leaves Earth for the first time in her life to
teach piano to the daughter of the Queen of Darconia. When
she arrives, Kyra figures she will be the only one there who
isn't reptilian. She learns she is wrong. The Queen has a
collection of exotic slaves; two of which are humanoid. Tychar and his brother, Trag, were captured when their home
planet was destroyed. The inhabitants had feline
characteristics. They can smell desire and are aroused by
it. Between Tychar and Trag, Kyra is in an almost constant
state of arousal. As Kyra settles in, her relationship with Tychar deepens.
She begins to adopt the local customs. She is enjoying her
work and has even added teaching some of the Queen's other
children. Not all the inhabitants of Darconia are happy with the
Queen's plans to modernize their world. During a recital
for the Queen and some of her guests, the Queen is killed
and a revolution is started. Kyra and others will escape the palace and seek refuge until
they can find out if there are others willing to support the
new Queen. I've been a fan of Ms. Brooks since Slave came out. She
builds interesting worlds; her characters are smart and
entertaining. Her books are highly erotic and she takes
this one up a notch with a ménage á trois. If you like
science fiction romance with a lot of humor, don't miss this
series.

SUMMARY
Third in The Cat Star Chronicles series - a hot, sexy
paranormal romance by a proven author. Trag and
Tychar are brothers sold into slavery when their planet
was destroyed. Their race carries a feline gene, giving
them sinuous beauty and extraordinary sexual powers.
Tychar's female conquests are legendary, but they never
meant much to him, and Trag just laughs at his playboy
brother. Living on Darconia, a planet of friendly but
unattractive lizards, neither has been with a woman in
many years. When the queen hires Kyra Aramis, a human from
Earth, to teach piano to her children, Trag and Tychar
agree to share the female and set out to win her
over... But suddenly Tychar becomes possessive -
Kyra is unlike any woman he's ever known. But he's sure
he's ruined any chance of her trusting him with her
heart... PRAISE FOR CHERYL BROOKS: "I
read this in a couple of days and just couldn't put it
down. It was original and entertaining and I can't praise
this book enough. Go and buy it now!" Angela
