Susannah Clarke had one job-get a DNA sample from alleged son Amado Alvarez. The test will prove whether or not Amado is the son of Tarrant Hardcastle. Susannah quickly learns she will have to trust Amado and follow his rules in order to get what she wants, a DNA sample and to keep her job.
Amado agrees to the DNA sample because he's certain Tarrant Hardcastle is not his father. But he wants one night with Susannah first. But can either of them stop with only one night?
The second book in the Hardcastle Progeny is in a field of its own. It ties in with the first book. But if you haven't read Millionaire's Secret Seduction, I suggest you do so, but you won't be lost reading the second book first. Jennifer Lewis can weave a story full of passion, love, anger, romance, and desire, like a true genius of her craft. Her characters have such depth and personality you feel like you have known them for years. Her plots are full of emotion and Lewis keeps you turning the pages wantingβneeding more. Jennifer's settings are vivid and dreamy. I've never been to Argentina personally, but I went there while reading this book. A must read for all romance lovers.
It was just one "simple" missionβfind out whether a
winemaker in Argentina was a New York millionaire's
long-lost son. But Susannah Clarke quickly learned Amado
Alvarez played by his own rules. He'd give her the DNA
sample she wantedβif she spent the night with him! And in a
moment of madness, she'd given in, to his demand and to her
own desire. Now she had to return to South America to face
this compelling, sensuous man againβand to face the
consequences of that one unforgotten, unforgettable night in
a stranger's bedβ¦.
