Paul Bennet is one of those lucky people who's good looks and charm has helped him breeze through life with very few bumps and bruises. He owns his own successful PR company, he knows all the Hollywood VIPs, and he has no problem attracting the attention of good looking women. Not a bad life as far as Paul's concerned. When his current girlfriend, Autumn, asks him to find a date to take her sister Gwen to their parent's fiftieth anniversary party, Paul doesn't hesitate before agreeing. He's sure this will favor will help him seal the deal with Autumn and it won't be much effort on his part. It turns out he's wrong on both counts. Autumn is out of town and Paul's original blind date for Gwen cancels at the last minute, leaving Paul to escort Gwen. At first, Paul is surprised at how little Gwen looks like her sister, but as the night progresses Paul comes to appreciate Gwen's dry humor, sharp intelligence, and superior dancing skills. More confusing is why Gwen's family is so dismissive of her.

Unable to stop thinking about Gwen after the party, Paul shows up at the bar where Gwen and her co-workers compete in a weekly sports trivia contest. When Gwen asks Paul why he's come and he tells her he wants to be her friend, Gwen is understandably leery. Letting down her guard is hard, but the more Paul works at getting to know her the more Gwen finds herself sharing. Paul discovers he likes himself more when he's trying to be someone worthy of Gwen and Gwen likes how special Paul makes her feel in return. Can something this good, for both of them, last?

In MS. MATCH, the characters are flawed just enough to be human, they're also just special enough to be worthy of their "lucky in love" status. And when the brainy girl gets the boy after he works hard to deserve her? That's the stuff dreams are made of.

SUMMARY

Waking up in a hotel room next to a nearly naked Gwen Christopher is a shocker for Paul Bennet.

Hmm, one too many the night before? After all, he's rich, successful and looks more like one of his movie-star clients than their PR rep. Paul can have any woman he wants. Any woman—except Gwen's smokin'-hot sister. Taking plain-Jane Gwen out as a favor was supposed to be his ticket in.

And okay, sure, Gwen's fun and smart and interesting—and absolutely amazing in bed. But she'd never fit in with his parties-and-paparazzi lifestyle. This is a total mismatch.

So why's he so ready to dive back into bed with Gwen first chance he can?
