Ryder's capabilities as a demon hunter are well known, but with both Angelique and the black diamond gone, he questions himself for not paying more attention to her motives. His determination to locate Angelique is unmatched, and he does so quickly. Unfortunately, a new breed of the Sons of Darkness arrives before he can talk to her. Using every skill he can drum up, Ryder figures out how to weaken the new demon, which gives them enough time to escape to safety. Now all Ryder needs to do is convince Angelique to turn over the black diamond.

This latest book in Jaci Burton's Demon Hunter series is fast-paced and exciting. It extends and enlightens the original storyline keeping you on the edge of your seat for the next one. I love this series!
